Kids Eco Sewing Workshop: 8yr-16yr
A day of Sustainable sewing! 10:30-3:30
Service Description
Come along and sew some eco-friendly / sustainable goodies. Students will design and make their choice of items from salvaged clothing. This is a 5 hour workshop including a break for lunch. Numbers are limited to 4 students per class. SUITABLE FOR: Children aged 8yrs to 16yrs who have their sewing machine drivers licence or have used a sewing machine before. WHAT YOU WILL LEARN: You will learn to cut out fabric and redesign existing items. WHAT IS INCLUDED: Fabrics, second hand clothing. Use of a Janome sewing machine. Cold drinks included. WHAT TO BRING: lots of energy and lunch for half time! Also feel free to bring some old or second hand cloths to cut up and redesign.
