Summer Workshop: Pattern to Shorts

Service Description
This is a two day workshop, 3 hours each day including a break. This class is limited to 3 students per class SUITABLE FOR: teens 13+ and adults WHAT YOU WILL LEARN: You will learn to use a sewing pattern, then lay and cut your fabric. You will learn to baste pieces together, sew pockets, overlock and insert elastic. WHAT IS INCLUDED: Shorts pattern, thread, elastic. Use of a Janome sewing machine. Please email me with your measurements upon booking. Hot and cold drinks included. WHAT TO BRING: Please bring 2 meters of fabric suitable for shorts (email me for advice with this). Suitable fabrics: lightweight woven, viscose, border prints, georgette, linen. Bring a snack for half time!
