Happy Bank Holiday week and welcome to Summer! Summer sewing projects can be super quick and easy so if you need to get to the pool or BBQ, you may be able to sew something up at short notice.

A new Saturday class schedule is available to book and new workshops will be live from bank holiday Monday. Plus there is still availability in some Saturday classes over the next few months.

Availability for 1:1 classes is currently weekdays in June.

There is a kids/ teens sewing workshop this half term on Thursday 28 May from 10:30am to 3pm. Students can choose a pattern to sew and fabric is included! The cost is £52 and you can read more about it or book here .

In the June Saturday classes we are sewing swim cover-ups and there are still spaces available for kids or teens. The class projects and dates are listed in "regular sewing classes" in the top menu or click here for info.​​

Saturday group classes are available for adults and children with a maximum of  3 - 4 students per class, so spaces fill up quickly. ​If a class is full please join the waiting list or email me so I can add another class if needed.

Every month, the Saturday classes sew a new project and learn new sewing skills! Fabric is included plus a pattern to take home

Top Notch Sewing Centre holds small group classes and one-to-one's, plus pattern and skills classes and workshops. See the top menu for info or to book. The latest Jeans workshop produced fabulous results and the Shirt Dresses for the current course are looking beautiful.

If you would like to learn to sew, the next Sewing Machine Driver's Licence group class with availability for children is 30 May and for adults is 25 July or there are later dates too. Children can learn to sew from 8 years old upwards. 

The sewing licence class can also be done as a one-to-one lesson at time to suit you and there are also other classes available for anyone wanting to learn to sew, so click here for all beginners classes. Use of a sewing machine is included in all classes, or bring your own if you prefer.

If you have an unfinished project from a class done at Top Notch but you prefer to finish it with guidance, please book a 2 hour tutoring session but use the discount code "Finish".​

At the Top Notch shop you can buy items in person when you attend a class, or email me for a time to visit. Items included notchers, tracing wheels, sewing needles, point turners and ironing rulers!​

​Sewing or pattern ​Tutoring can be booked per hour. All classes must be pre-booked. You can see any group class schedule or book classes in each separate class page. Book with a buddy for a discount or email me for a discount code if booking a 1:1 class for a child.
