The Saturday classes have all made Jersey Peplum tops this month. Skills learnt include: how to sew jersey fabric, sewing darts, inserting a sleeve, ease-stitching the sleeve head and peplum edge and twin needle stitching. It was a challenging project but I was so impressed with how everyone managed it!

A new Saturday class schedule will be added to my website soon and there is still availability in some Saturday classes over the next few months. Availability for 1:1 classes is currently weekdays in June.​

Top Notch Sewing Centre holds small group sewing classes and one-to-one's, plus pattern and skills classes and two-day workshops. See the top menu for info or to book. The latest workshop for sewing jeans will complete this weekend and so far they are looking fabulous!

Saturday small group classes are available for adults and children, though booking in advance is advised as classes have a max of  3 - 4 students, so spaces fill up quickly. ​If a class is full please join the waiting list or email me so I can add another class if needed.

Every month the Saturday classes sew a new project and learn new sewing skills! Fabric is included plus

a pattern to take home. The class projects and dates are listed in the "regular sewing classes" page in the menu above or click here for more info.​​​

If you would like to learn to sew, the next Sewing Machine Driver's Licence group class with availability for children is 30 May and for adults is 25 July. Children can learn to sew from age 8yr upwards. 

This class can also be done as a one-to-one lesson at time to suit you and there are also other classes for anyone wanting to learn to sew, so click here for all beginners classes. Use of a sewing machine is included in all classes, or bring your own if you prefer. Click here to book. ​

If you have an unfinished project from a class done at Top Notch but you prefer to finish it with guidance, please book a 2 hour tutoring session but use the discount code "Finish".​
