Happy Easter! There are a few Kids / Teens sewing classes happening over the Eater break. Tuesday 31 March there is a kids sewing class to choose and sew an item of their choice! There is an adults sewing social on

10 April and another kids holiday sewing class on 15 April, plus the 2-Day Jeans workshop for adults.

The holiday sewing course for kids & teens is suitable for children who have sewn a few projects before. In the sewing competence class, students will cut and sew projects independently, helping them to gain confidence, analyse information and get support where needed. Patterns and fabrics are included or bring your own.

The March Saturday sewing classes learnt to sew buttonholes and made a Bow Tote Bag​.​​ In April we are sewing a peplum top with darts, using jersey fabric. Saturday classes are available for adults and children, though booking in advance is advised as classes sizes are small. If a class is full please join the waiting list or email me so I can add another class if needed. Classes have a max of 3 - 4 students, so spaces fill up quickly.

Every month in the Saturday classes there is a new project and new sewing skills to learn! Fabric is included plus

a pattern to take home. The class projects and dates are listed in the "regular sewing classes" pages in the menu above or click here for more info​​​.

If you would like to learn to sew, the next Sewing Machine Driver's Licence group class with availability for children is 30 May and for adults is 25 July. Children can learn to sew from age 8yr upwards. This class can also be done as a one-to-one lesson at time to suit you and there are also other classes for anyone wanting to learn to sew, so click here for all beginners classes.

Use of a sewing machine is included in all classes, or bring your own if you prefer. Click here to book. ​

If you have an unfinished project from a class done at Top Notch but you prefer to finish it with guidance, please book a 2 hour tutoring session but use the discount code "Finish".

At the Top Notch shop you can buy items in person any time you attend a class, or email me for a time to visit. Items included notchers, tracing wheels, sewing gauges, sewing needles, point turners and ironing rulers!​
