News This Week

Welcome to half term, this week there is the kids sewing workshop to cut and sew a sweatshirt. Hopefully I will have some photos to post on my socials by the end of the week. The Saturday sewing classes for adults and children this month have all sewn leggings using 4-way stretch fabric. Students learnt to change needles in their sewing machines, using jersey and twin needles. Excellent results from everyone, well done!

I have an exciting new class which will soon be live to book. This new class will be a stand-alone practical session to test competence of students to cut and sew projects independently. This is an opportunity to grow in confidence and get support or advice where needed.

Thank you to everyone who attends Saturday sewing classes. If a class is full, please join the waiting list or email me so I can add another class if needed. Classes have a max. of 3-4 students, so spaces fill up quickly. Saturday sewing classes are a great way to earmark a regular time to sew.

Every month there is a new project and new sewing skills to learn! Fabric is included as well as a pattern to take home. The class projects and dates are listed in the "regular sewing classes" pages in the menu above or click here for more info

There are also classes for anyone wanting to learn to sew. Please click here for all beginners classes.

The adults 2-Day coat workshop was great and the finished results are Excellent! I am so proud of the professional sewing done by the students. Some finishing touches are yet to be added and I will then post photos on my socials. See more upcoming workshops under Sewing Classes in the top menu or click here.

Thanks Caroline. I found the session incredibly helpful - by far the best sewing course I have been on. I took away so many nuggets of helpful information / tips over and above

what I was expecting.
